Hyatt's LGBTQA Inclusiveness
AWP is committed to the understanding of issues of diversity within psychology, including LGBTQA issues. Some of our members may have heard about the boycott of the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. This boycott was organized after the owner was said to have supported a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage in California. This was a boycott of that specific hotel, and not the entire Hyatt chain. We would like our members to know that the Hyatt hotel chain has received good scores on LGBT issues from the Human Rights Campaign:

Conference Hotel
The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia Penn's Landing.

Hotel reservations must be made by February 8, 2011 in order to receive the conference rate of $160/night.
