Please pay particular attention, in your planning, to the number of participants in your session, as this may affect the time that you have for presentations. Over the last few weeks, several presenters have had to cancel their participation in the conference, which may mean that you have a bit MORE time to present in your session. But in all cases, we want to make sure that everyone who is listed in a session has adequate time to present, and that there is ample time for discussion as well! If there are 4 presenters in your 75 minute session, each presenter should really limit her/his presentation to 15 minutes, for example, so that there will be at least 15 minutes for discussion.

For poster sessions, we are assuming that presenters will stay with their presentation materials for the first hour or 75 minutes of the poster session. After that, you can leave your materials up for the rest of the poster session, but you don't need to stay with them.

We're looking forward to a great conference!

Poster Format

If you will be presenting a POSTER at the conference, this information applies to you.

You will be supplied with a tri-fold to present your poster. Laying flat, they measure 36” high and 48” wide. They have two side sections each 12” wide and a middle section 24” wide. This means that the side sections will each fit four 8.5X11 (landscape orientation) sheets of paper (which could be printed PowerPoint slides) and the middle section will fit eight sheets, for a total of 16 possible sheets of paper. Please bring thumbtacks for affixing your papers to the boards.
